Twin City Brewing opened in Port Alberni in March 2017. It has quickly become the go-to place in the small Vancouver Island city providing a great pub-style atmosphere known for great pizza and even better beer.

While their Tickety-Boo British Pale Ale took home an award at last year’s BC Beer Awards, it’s their blonde hybrid ale called Swedish Gymnast that scores the 9.9 from the judges (insert your own blonde jokes here). This citra hopped ale brings forward a refreshing subtle taste of the tropical while going easy on the bitterness. It’s the ultimate summer beer. Conveniently located seconds away from the road to Tofino, Twin City Brewing provides the perfect growler filling station for surfers, hikers, and beach-goers alike. Grab a flexible Swede and everything will be tickety boo in Porter Alberni.
